Poptropica has an additional brand-new island journey and its title is Skullduggery. It has been available for paid members of Poptropica in early access and will be released to everyone on June 17 2010. Skullduggery is the most challenging and complex quest released on Poptropica so far. Keep reading for all the Poptropica cheats for Skullduggery
When you arrive by balloon, you'll be in Fort Ridley, which is where the first part of Skullduggery Island takes place. For the first part of the island, you will collect items that lead to other items and clues. When you have resolved the mystery of the strange note and aided the residents of Fort Ridley, you can leave this main island and check out many more on the high seas.
To get started, head through the first place and dash over the bridge to the subsequent area. On the far side, climb down into the stream and go left to get the Doubloon from the sand.
Go back over the bridge to the Main Street spot and after that walk inside the General Store in which you will discover a woman inside. Click on the doubloon inside your backpack and use it to get a bag of chicken feed.
Following that go outside the store and proceed to the chap with the chickens. Offer him the bag of feed you just purchased. He will give you a chicken.
Next go back over the big wood bridge and you will arrive at a position where there's corn growing though there are insects almost everywhere. Use the chicken here and it will eat the pests. The man will be delighted and gives you a blue candle.
Keep moving to the right and jump up the rocky hill. Then run past the house to the edge and speak with the woman standing there.
Go into the house on top of the hill and talk to the two men there. Use the blue candle that the corn farmer gave you to uncover the missing part of the document. The Goverrnor will explain the story of the lost Treasure Map and will ask you to find the pieces and defeat the terrible pirate, Captain Crawfish.
Go back all the way to the left and jump up to the top of the tower with the soldiers in it. Use the telescope up on the roof and move it around until you spot a small raft with torn sails on the horizon. Click on the broken mirror in the lower-left corner to send a signal to the raft and it will come to the dock.
A scruffy looking guy appears and it turns out he is the long-lost husband of the woman you met on the beach. He then gives you what's left of his ship and you'll find that you've already got a two-person crew ready to join you.
Click on your small ship to Embark and then go to Dragon Cove, which is up and to the left of the main island. As you move from place to place in your boat, try to stay far away from sea creatures, pirate ships, and thunder clouds because they will all damage your ship. If you see salvage floating in the water, try to get it for extra doubloons and goods.
When you get to Dragon Cove, click on the dock to explore the island. A piece of the treasure map is hidden here. To get it, jump down into the water and stand on top of the stone. It will reveal a mallet. Push the old fisherman all the way to the right, and hit the giant Bell Gong with the mallet. The sound of the gong will make the fish jump out of the water and onto the fisherman's hook. He will give you a piece of the map which he found in the fish's mouth. You cannot immediately afford a new ship, or the services of the Shipwright, who can repair damage while underway. New ships and the crewmembers are pretty expensive and you'll need to do a lot of trading between the islands before you can start upgrading. While you're here on Dragon Cove, visit the trading post and buy as much Silk as you can.
Sail to Bouffant Bay, to the right, again avoiding damage but picking up salvage from the water.
The guy here once you arrive at the pier will give you a tiny hint regarding the hidden map piece on this island. Walk a bit over to the right and go to the Trading Post, where you will want to sell whatever silk you have. Here, it is Medicine that is cheaply purchased. Go right to the residence with three Hanging Fern Baskets. Hop up and knock the third basket (on the right), then the first basket (on the left) and then the second basket (in the middle). After you hit all three baskets in that specific order, the map piece appears and you can take it. In the nearby Willard's Warehouse is the Cargo Master, who can increase your cargo space for any ship by 50%. Since this is your first trip around the islands, you probably won't have enough doubloons to hire him just yet, but try to hire him as soon as you can because with him you'll get money a lot faster. Don't forget to make sure you bought the Medicine cargo from the trading post because you'll want to sell it at the next port.
And now we're on to the next island. Embark on your ship and sail down to Parrot Port. When you arrive, go to the Trading Post and sell all your cargo. Don't purchase anything here because everything is too expensive. In Petey's Pirate Pub is the Navigator, who can increase your sailing speed if you hire her. Upstairs on the left side of the pub you'll find a cracker. Go get it. Walk outside and return to the Trading Post. Here you'll see a Parrot and you should click on him. The parrot is kind of weird and tells you to jump into the sea and then to come back and try to find it. Go back to your boat and swim in the ocean, then find the parrot on the window sill of one of the buildings above the Trading Post. The parrot will tell you to clog the vent and he's talking about a chimney on top of one of the other buildings over to the right. Go stand on that chimney to stop the smoke from coming out. Now the parrot is at the palm tree at far right, and tells you to see the pirate in the tower near the shore, who is the parrot's owner. Go to him, then locate the parrot atop the buildings (you may have to dunk yourself and do the chimney again). Use the cracker to lure him back to the tower, where the pirate gives you the map piece.
The next port to visit is Golden Harbor, located to the South of Parrot Port. Golden Harbor is the home of the Golden Harbor Bank. When you go inside the bank, you can borrow doubloons which let you buy more cargo for trading and earn money quickly. The loan is good for us to 20 days but carries a 5% interest per day, so it adds up quickly. To get the map piece here, you have to light three of the five street lights, some of which go out when others are turned on. The specific order is to get the lantern on the far right first (the fifth lantern). Then get the third lantern, followed by the fourth one. Next, get the second and then finally the first lantern (far left). After you get the correct lanterns lit, the map piece will drift down from the middle of the archway. Once you have the map piece, go to the trading post and buy up as much grain as you can fit in your cargo hold.
Next, emark for the Pirate Outpost, which is due West of Golden Harbor and dock your ship. Sell your grain and buy Spice, which is cheap here. Go all the way up to the top of the island and you'll find a small building with a sign that says Corsair Cannonry. In the cannon shack is the Cannoneer, who you may wish to hire later. Go back outside the cannonry and jump up to the top of the mast with the pirate flag on it. There is a box here that is a cannon starter kit and it will let you fire the cannons around the island. Push the small barrel of explosives off the mast and into the water below. Leap off the platform and land next to the barrel in the water below. Push the barrel to the right and place it directly underneath the gold tooth in the big skull statue. Go back to the cannon that was near where the barrel fell from the platform and click on it to fire. The cannonball fires and lands on the explosive barrel. The resulting explosion blasts the gold tooth out of the skull and uncovers the hidden piece of the map.
Next, start following a trade route by returning to Dragon Cove to sell your spice. Keep going in this circular clockwise direction from port to port to build your profits so that you can purchase bigger ships and hire more crew. You can use any trading routes you want, but this basic circle will get you profits faster than any other way. As you build profits, keep upgrading your ship and don't forget to hire the Cargo Master to increase the size of your hold. You might want to take out loans at the bank from time to time to get more money to fill your hold.
Winning the Game: If you have the biggest kind of boat, the Phoenix Warbird, and the skilled Cannoneer, you will be more than a match for any ship, even Captain Crawfish. You'll find Captain Crawfish near Skullduggery Island in the lower left corner of the map. Sail there and wait for him to attack. After you sink his ship and defeat him, return to Fort Ridley and visit the Governor's Mansion. He will give you the location of the Buried Treasure and a Bone Shovel to dig it up.
Sail down to Skullduggery Island and dock there. Walk six paces to the right of the flag and use the bone shovel to dig in that spot. After the treasure is out of the hole, you will be surprised by Captain Crawfish and his crew, and a spy who posed as an aide to the Governor.
Unfortunately, there is absolutely no final fight with Crawfish. Fortunately, your crew arrives just in the nick of time and captures Crawfish and his pirates. You then return to Fort Ridley to return the treasure to the island. As a reward, the Governor gives you the island medallion and you've finished the quest.
